26研究テーマ名大橋　泰夫（法文学部・教授）Yasuo Ohashi (Professor, Faculty of Low and Literature)研究代表者（センター長）：Leader（Director） :グループ紹介概　　　要特　　　色研究成果今後の展望Study of Izumo Fudoki (description of the culture, climate etc. of Izumo province) and Its Acceptance, and Formation of the Image of Ancient Izumo 　私たちは「出雲国」成立過程における地域圏の形成と展開に関する総合的研究を，文献史学，考古学， 地質学など複眼的な方法で進めています。特に，”地域”というまとまりがどのような背景のもとに形成されたのかを歴史資料に根ざして通時代的に探り，古代出雲像を再構築したいと考えています。　その一つの柱として，この研究では古代出雲国の形成と深く関わる，出雲国府を中心とした地方官衙の調査と研究を進めています。古代日本の地方行政システムは，国府をはじめとする地方官衙の構造に示されています。そのため，いつ国府が成立し，どのような構造をしていたかを明らかにしようとしています。　We are pursuing a comprehensive study on the formation and development of the areal province in the process of formation of “Izumo Province” in a multifaceted way by utilizing methods of document-based historical research, archaeology, and geology. Especially we concentrate on reconstructing the image of ancient Izumo by investigating how the unit of a　“local area” was formed by researching timeless historical data. 　As one of the main subjects, we are making investigation and researches of local administrative offices centering around the Izumo provincial government, which was deeply related with the formation of Ancient Izumo. The local administrative system of ancient Japan is represented by the structure of areal administrative offi ces centering around the provincial government. We therefore try to elucidate when the provincial government was established and how its structure was.　出雲国の中心にあったのは国府であり，松江市大草町を中心にした意宇平野に位置し，六所神社の境内地と重なって中心施設の国庁がみつかり，史跡公園となっています。奈良時代の天平５年(733)に編纂された『出雲国風土記』に記された，出雲国府，郡家（郡役所）や道路などの発掘調査成果の検討から，出雲国では７世紀末頃から８世紀にかけて大きな変革があったことを明らかにしました。国府の設置を契機として，出雲国の骨格は形成されました。こうした出雲国で明らかにした成果は，他国でも認められるものであることが明らかになりつつあります。研究成果については，科研報告書『国郡制と国府成立の研究』にまとめた上で，一般向けの著書『出雲国誕生』（吉川弘文館の歴史ライブラリー）として刊行しました。　現在，出雲国府の研究とあわせて，出雲国内の郡衙や古代道路の検討を進めており，より具体的に古代出雲の実態を追求していきたいと考えています。『出雲国誕生』（吉川弘文館の歴史ライブラリー）吉川弘文館（2016）出雲国風土記とその受容および古代出雲像形成の研究Ancient Izumo Project Center古代出雲プロジェクトセンター
