Campus Entry Restriction Due to Bomb Threat Notice Targeting Shimane University

A post was found on the Internet stating that the main buildings of Shimane University will be bombed at 12:08 p.m. on Friday, August 7.

Currently, Shimane University is mobilizing to strengthen the patrol on campus in cooperation with the police. In order to prioritize the safety of our students and pupils, faculty and staff members and our neighbor community, the university will impose campus entry restrictions from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7.

■Matsue and Izumo campus (excluding Shimane University Hospital)

　・Students and non-Shimane University members : From 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7

    ・Faculty and Staff : From 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7
 

■Attached kindergarten and compulsory education school (in summer vacation)

　　・Young students, children and kindergarteners : From 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7
        ・Teachers and staff : From 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7

Shimane University Hospital will open as usual, providing regular medical care for both inpatient and outpatient services while taking adequate safety measures. 
Shimane University will continue to remain on alert and take necessary measures in cooperation with the police.
