In light of the novel coronavirus infectious spread, Shimane University has decided to cancel the entrance ceremony scheduled to be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020. This is in consideration of the fact that priority must be given to the health and safety of our students, their families and other persons concerned.　Although we understand how much new students and their families look forward to this ceremony as their brand new start, we greatly appreciate your kind understanding that we had to come to the above conclusion under these current circumstances.

Orientatiln will be held as originally scheduled in the afternoon on Thursday, April 2 and all day on Friday, April 3. Please refer to the following links for the timetable and venue. Please be sure to wear a face mask when attending. In case you have any cold symptoms/fever, please contact the office of your affiliation and refrain from attending.
