【Additional Application of Tuition Exemption】
We will accept additional application of tuition exemption targeting the students whose household finances have been severely affected by COVID-19 and have difficulty in paying tuition.
If you wish to apply, be sure to contact the office in charge by May 18 (Mon.)
【Submission of Application Documents】
After having contacted the office, submit the necessary documents to the office in charge by May 28 (Thu.) (Application sent by post must arrive by May 28.)
【Target students and Eligibility】
1. Target students
※Students whose household finances have been severely affected by COVID-19 and have difficulty in paying tuition and have not applied for tuition exemption for the first semester in 2020 are eligible. If you face the drastic change in your household finances after you applied for tuition exemption for the first semester in 2020, and following conditions meet you, be sure to contact the office in charge.
(1)If your and/or your spouse’s income became less than half compared to the one earned in 2018.
(2)If you can ready and submit the following documents by May 28 (Thu.)
① Necessary application forms for tuition exemption

※State the details of the drastic change in your household finances affected by COVID-19 on Application Form for Tuition Fees Exemption (Form 1-1).
②Certificate of resignation, latest available pay slip which shows the decrease in your income.
③AY2019 Income and Taxation Certificate (covering the year of 2018)
④ (Undergraduate students only) Hardcopy of the result of JASSO simulation (➡https://shogakukin-simulator.jasso.go.jp/) (in Japanese)
