Urgent Notice on Class (from January 17 to the day of last class in second semester)

　 I extend my gratitude for your cooperation with switching all classes to online classes on special notice due to the rapid surge in COVID-19 infections. Unfortunately, the infection situation in Shimane Prefecture is still spreading and the situation remains unpredictable.
　
    In view of this situation, it was decided at the COVID-19 Countermeasures Meeting today that all the classes from January 17 to 25 (the day of last class in second semester) are conducted online. However, special subjects related to national qualifications might be approved to face-to face instruction in compliance with following measures to prevent infection. Regarding to the individual classes, you will be given further instructions via Campus Square and Shimane University Moodle. Please be sure to follow the instructions.
   
　Those who have difficulty taking online classes due to poor internet environment at their home can use the classroom which is temporarily available for taking online classes. The available classroom will be changed to Room 202 of General Education Building 1. Please make an application for the room from the link below.

 The above measures are not intended to prohibit students from entering the university campus (to use the library, etc.), but please understand the purpose of the measures to prevent the spread of infection, follow the measures, and behave in moderate manner. A decision for classes on and after January 26, including how to conduct regular examinations, will be discussed and made about a week in advance, so please wait for further notice.
