On December 9, 2020, it was confirmed that one student belonging to the Faculty of Medicine tested positive for COVID-19.
 

In cooperation with the regional public health center, we are currently trying to narrow down the people who have had close-contact with said person.

As of today, we have ordered all Izumo Campus students to stay at home for the time being in order to prevent further spread.

We pray for the early recovery of the individual and will cooperate with relevant organizations to prevent the spread of infection throughout the university.

In consideration of the affected person and family member’s personal information and human rights, we will not disclose any personal information on this matter. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
