島根大学では，入試における公平性・公正性を確保するため，不正行為には厳正に対処します。

不正行為の範囲
①　次のことをすると不正行為となります。

1. 出願書類，解答用紙へ故意に虚偽の記入（内容の改ざん（顔写真への加工を含む。），本人以外の写真の提出，本人以外の氏名・受験番号の記入など）をすること。
2. カンニング（試験の教科・科目に関係するメモやコピーなどを机上等に置いたり，見たりすること，教科書，参考書，辞書等の書籍類の内容を見ること，他の受験者の答案等を見ること，他の人から答えを教わることなど。）をすること。
3. 他の受験者に答えを教えたり，カンニングの手助けをしたりすること。
4. 配付された問題冊子を，監督者の許可を得ずにその試験時間が終了する前に試験室から持ち出すこと。
5. 解答用紙を試験室から持ち出すこと。
6. 「解答はじめ。」の指示の前に，問題冊子を開いたり，解答を始めたりすること。
7. 試験時間中に，定規（定規の機能を備えた鉛筆等を含む。），コンパス，電卓，そろばん，グラフ用紙等の補助具を使用すること。
8. 試験時間中に，携帯電話，スマートフォン，ウェアラブル端末（スマートウォッチやスマートグラス等。），タブレット端末，電子辞書，IC レコーダー，イヤホン，音楽プレーヤー等の電子機器類を使用すること。
   ※イヤホンについては，耳に装着していれば使用しているものとします。（試験時間中，病気・負傷や障害等により補聴器等を使用したい場合は，受験上の配慮の申請が必要です。）
9. 「解答やめ。鉛筆や消しゴムを置いて問題冊子を閉じてください。」の指示に従わず，鉛筆や消しゴムを持っていたり，解答を続けたりすること。

②　上記①以外にも，次のことをすると不正行為となることがあります。

1. 試験時間中に，定規（定規の機能を備えた鉛筆等を含む。），コンパス，電卓，そろばん，グラフ用紙等の補助具（ただし，これらの使用が認められている場合を除く。）や携帯電話，スマートフォン，ウェアラブル端末（スマートウォッチやスマートグラス等。），タブレット端末，電子辞書，IC レコーダー，イヤホン，音楽プレーヤー等の電子機器類，教科書，参考書，辞書等の書籍類をかばん等にしまわず，身に付けていたり，手に持っていたりすること。
2. 試験時間中に，携帯電話や時計等の音（着信・アラーム・振動音など。）を長時間鳴らすなど，試験の進行に影響を与えること。
3. 試験に関することについて，自身や他の受験者が有利になるような虚偽の申出をすること。
4. 試験場において他の受験者の迷惑となる行為をすること。
5. 試験場において監督者等の指示に従わないこと。
6. その他，試験の公平性を損なうおそれのある行為をすること。

不正行為への対応

1. 不正行為を行った場合，指示等に従わず，不正行為と認定された場合には，その場で受験の中止と退室を指示され，それ以降の受験はできなくなります。また，それまでに受験した本学のすべての入試において，成績を無効とします。
2. 必要に応じて追加的な書類の提出や試験当日において別室での聴取，所持品等の確認を行ったり，状況に応じては警察に被害届を提出したりする場合があります。
3. 入学を許可した学生について，入学者の選抜において不正行為があったと判明した場合には，入学を許可した日に遡って，入学許可を取り消す。
4. 本学が「不正行為の対応」とした上記いずれの場合であっても，納入済みの入学検定料や入学料は返還しません。

Shimane University will deal strictly with any misconduct in entrance examinations in order to ensure fairness and integrity in the admissions process.

Scope of Misconduct
① The following acts constitute misconduct:

1. Intentionally providing false information in application documents or answer sheets, including falsifying submitted information (such as altering personal details or digitally modifying a facial photograph), submitting another person's photograph, or writing another person’s name or examination number.
2. Cheating, including placing or consulting notes, memoranda, photocopies, or other materials related to the examination subjects on the desk or in view; referring to textbooks, reference books, dictionaries, or similar materials; looking at another examinee's answers; or receiving answers from another person.
3. Providing answers to another examinee or assisting another examinee in cheating.
4. Removing the examination booklet from the examination room before the end of the examination period without the permission of the proctor.
5. Removing the answer sheet from the examination room.
6. Opening the examination booklet or beginning to answer questions before being instructed to do so.
7. Using aids such as rulers (including pencils with ruler functions), compasses, calculators, abacuses, graph paper, or similar tools during the examination.
8. Using electronic devices during the examination, including mobile phones, smartphones, wearable devices (such as smartwatches and smart glasses), tablet devices, electronic dictionaries, IC recorders, earphones, music players, or similar devices.
   Note: Earphones will be regarded as being in use if they are worn in the ears. Applicants who need to use hearing aids or similar devices due to illness, injury, or disability during the examination period must apply in advance for special examination accommodations.
9. Failing to follow the instruction, "Stop writing. Put down your pencils and erasers and close the examination booklet", including continuing to hold writing instruments or erasers or continuing to write answers.

② In addition to the above, the following acts may also be regarded as misconduct:

1. During the examination, keeping prohibited aids or materials on one's person or in hand instead of storing them in a bag or other designated location. Such items include rulers (including pencils with ruler functions), compasses, calculators, abacuses, graph paper (unless specifically permitted), electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, wearable devices, tablets, electronic dictionaries, IC recorders, earphones, music players, and books such as textbooks, reference books, and dictionaries.
2. Disrupting the progress of the examination by allowing sounds from a mobile phone, watch, or other device (such as ringtone, alarm, or vibration) to continue for an extended period.
3. Making false statements regarding examination matters in a manner intended to benefit oneself or another examinee.
4. Engaging in conduct that causes inconvenience or disturbance to other examinees at the examination venue.
5. Failing to comply with instructions given by proctors or other examination officials.
6. Any other conduct that may compromise the fairness of the examination.

Measures Against Misconduct

1. If an examinee commits misconduct or fails to follow instructions, and is determined to have engaged in misconduct, the examinee will be ordered to stop the examination and leave the examination room immediately. The examinee will not be permitted to take any further examinations, and the results of all Shimane University entrance examinations taken up to that point will be invalidated.
2. When necessary, the University may require the submission of additional documents, conduct interviews in a separate room on the examination day, inspect personal belongings, or, depending on the circumstances, file a report with the police.
3. If it is discovered after admission that a student admitted to the University engaged in misconduct during the selection process, the University may revoke the student's admission retroactively to the date on which admission was granted.
4. In any of the cases described above under "Measures Against Misconduct", any examination fees or admission fees already paid will not be refunded.
